Susie is a writer and editor who's been covering everything Apple for more than a decade. Before embarking on a freelance career, she was executive editor of Macworld and Mac|Life, and her work has appeared on PCWorld, iMore, TechRadar, and others. Her goal is a world where technology is accessible to everyone and excludes no one.

Experience

Susie started covering Apple at exactly the right time—her second Steve Jobs keynote just happened to be the introduction of the iPhone in January 2007. At Future US, Susie participated in the relaunch of MacAddict magazine as Mac|Life, and contributed reviews, how-tos, and features to help people get more out of their Apple technology.

In 2013, she moved to TechHive, where she wrote about mobile phones (remember the Fire Phone?), fitness wearables, kids' tech, and smart home products, always with the goal to help people decide how—and if—all these new products fit into their lives. In 2015, she took the helm at Macworld, leading its coverage of the entire Apple ecosystem. Along the way, she's reviewed Macs, iPhones, iPads, the Apple Watch, the Apple TV, and countless other products, and become known for her friendly, conversational style in writing and well as in videos and podcasts.

Susie's work has appeared in Macworld, iMore, Mac|Life, TechRadar, PCWorld, TechHive, Greenbot, Tap!, Mom365, and CafeMom.

"Consumer technology shouldn't be hard to understand. All you need are some good instructions and a place to ask questions. Follow me on Twitter @sfsooz and I'll do my best!"

"I love technology the most when it brings people together—and that can be anything from FaceTime to Snapchat to Heads Up to Reddit. Personal tech should make your life easier so you have more time and energy for the people and activities you like the most."
