Cisco

Cisco is a computer technology company that manufactures routers, switches, and other network equipment.

Cisco's main website is located at https://www.cisco.com.

Cisco Support

Cisco provides technical support for their products through an online support website:

You can browse by category for support on specific hardware, as well as register a product, check coverage on service contracts, and more.

Cisco Firmware & Driver Download

Cisco provides an online source to download drivers and firmware for their hardware:

Unable to locate the Cisco driver or firmware you were looking for? Drivers and firmware direct from Cisco are best but there are several other places to download drivers too.

Sometimes, a free driver updater tool is preferred since they can be installed on your computer to check for outdated or missing Cisco drivers, and even install them for you.

Not sure how to update the drivers for your Cisco hardware? See How to Update Drivers in Windows for easy driver update instructions.

Cisco Product Manuals

Many of the user guides, instructions, and other manuals for Cisco hardware are available on the Cisco support website:

Once you navigate through the pages and land on the final product support page, you can download the manual to your Cisco product from the Documentation tab. Most manuals on their site are available in PDF format.

Cisco Telephone Support

Cisco provides technical support over the phone for their small business clients at 1-866-606-1866. Cisco's SBSC Contacts page provides telephone numbers local to your country.

Cisco's technical support number for other clients is 1-800-553-2447. Non-U.S. numbers can be found at the Cisco Worldwide Contacts page.

I highly recommend reading through our Tips on Talking to Tech Support before calling Cisco tech support.

Cisco Email Support

You can also contact Cisco's Technical Assistance Center (TAC) at the following address:

Other email addresses are available for non-English/Spanish speakers at the Cisco Worldwide Contacts page.

Cisco Instant Chat Support

Instant chat is another support option for contacting Cisco:

To start a new chat conversation with Cisco, use the Chat Now button on that page, and then fill out the form you're given to verify who you are before you talk with their support team.

Cisco Forum Support

Cisco also provides a forum as a way to further support their hardware:

Additional Cisco Support Options

If Cisco's website isn't resolving the problem, be sure to check out their Cisco Support Community on Facebook, as well as Cisco's official support Twitter page @Cisco_Support.

If you need support for your Cisco hardware but haven't been successful contacting Cisco directly, see Get More Help for information about contacting me on social networks or via email, posting on tech support forums, and more.

I've gathered as much Cisco technical support information as I could and I frequently update this page to keep the information current. However, if you find anything about Cisco that needs updated, please let me know!
