Bradley Mitchell is a computer professional with more than two decades of experience in network software development, project management, and technical writing. Mitchell is an MIT graduate who:

  • Worked as a technical reviewer for six published technical books
  • Participated in project development in the aerospace and computer industries
  • Is software engineering manager at Intel Corporation

Experience

Mitchell is a former writer for Lifewire.com, where he wrote about technology for more than 16 years. He has written about technology since 1999, focusing on search engine optimization, computers, and wireless networking topics. 

Mitchell is a seasoned engineer and team leader who has worked for several product development organizations in the computer and aerospace industries. He has published several research papers and co-authored two patents.

Mitchell previously worked with Cisco Press as a technical reviewer, completing manuscript reviews for six published books including "Home Networking: A Visual Do-It-Yourself Guide," "Internet Phone Services Simplified" and "Cisco Networking Simplified" (2nd Edition). He has also written for Computerworld.com and served as an adjunct instructor in computer science at the Oregon Graduate Institute.

Mitchell holds a bachelor's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Illinois.
